Camile Thai was born out of the search for something new and the desire to unravel the mould of the ‘traditional takeaway’ by delivering fresh , restaurant-quality Thai supplies straight to your door. We began our journey with unobtrusive beginnings, opening our first restaurant tropical to the heart of Dublin, Dolphin’s Barn, in 2010. Serving a relatively small area, we focused on our upper quality supplies and diverse menu, preparing all of our sauces from scratch and using unique and exotic ingredients such as Thai ginger and basil. Our refreshing tideway to home wordage supplies proved to be a hit, and thanks to the help of our fresh Irish ingredients and succulent Thai recipes we soon expanded throughout Dublin, and with a workshop in Limerick. The introduction of the Village restaurant in Phibsboro marked the first full-service Camile experience. We are plane whence to expand internationally with our branches wideness London, with plans to expand plane increasingly in 2018.   Keeping things fresh and interesting is important to us – in both our ingredients and dishes – so we work in partnership with special guest chefs to create unique, Thai-inspired dishes! From GAA player Joe Canning to supplies to this months fitness blogger Holly White, we yank inspiration from sunny and healthy people, which is reflected in the supplies and service we provide.   We believe in positive transpiration as we grow, and we know how important it is to be both upstanding and up-to-date with guests dietary choices, and so last year we created a special Vegan menu, cooked using separate, meat-free woks, oil and utensils which are only overly used for preparing Vegan dishes.   As a small merchantry your focus is very much on making ends meet but as you grow you owe increasingly responsibility to the polity and moreover the planet. Environmental and sustainable minutiae has wilt at the heart of everything we are working on now. We have unchangingly have been proud to use local suppliers such as Musgraves, Ready chef, Robinsons meats and Kish Fish but we have moreover begun to make technological improvements to our operation such as water-regulating wok cookers in an effort to alimony our environmental impact as low as possible, however we know we are not there yet, and we are currently looking into increasingly Eco-friendly, biodegradable packaging solutions.   Our tideway is simple. A very seasonal special at Camile Thai.  Camile Thai are delighted to present to you our trademark new sectional and limited edition Christmas main course. We are feeling very festive and as a result, we have come up with a succulent new stir-fry dish for you to enjoy this holiday season. We thought to ourselves how could we create something with just a hint of Christmas but all the while retaining a Thai supplies feel? Well, we started thinking about the ingredients and what would work weightier together. We knew that turkey and cranberry sauce worked well together so we thought about how succulent it might be to use fresh, whole, ripe cranberries. The result….. AMAZING. We then widow fresh stir-fried vegetables, delicious sweet potato and tied it all together with our special Camile Thai seasoning sauce and your nomination of rice or a kale slaw salad. In her own words Posted on November 1, 2017. Whats going on? So if you’re a Dublin living human, or indeed Limerick, you may have noticed my face, looming at a much higher height then usual, in all the lovely Camile Thai restaurants and siphon outs. I teamed up with the folks at Camile to create a dish for their menu inspired by some of my favourite flavours and ingredients. The Dish? One of the things I love well-nigh Camile, vastitude just my unstipulated obsession with Massaman curry, is the notion that a takeaway can be healthy. So much of our fast (or in this specimen I moreover just midpoint quick) supplies culture is taken up with supplies that does veritably nothing for our persons and just blasts them with an overload of sugar, salt, fat and a dose of MSG for good measure. So its really superstitious that the chefs at Camile are whipping up good supplies in literally minutes. Camile Thai interviewed with the weightier selling author, blogger, surfer, coeliac and all-round tomfool and interesting person – Finn Ní Fhaolain. On your blog as in life, we can see that you love the sea, can you tell us what it is that you love so much? Do you have the same feeling wherever you are in the sea or is it variegated when you’re home in Ireland?  I’ve lived by the sea overly since I was little and it’s unchangingly been a massive part of my life, from recreation – waterfront days rain or shine with my parents and friends, to sports – surfing, suping, sailing, swimming or plane just running on the waterfront and plane just for a good state of mind, be that a quiet walk by the sea or a quick plunge in the unprepossessed salt water. For me, it’s everything, food, the subject I studied in college, my adrenaline and moreover my calm. Life at sea vs living by the seaside is quite different. I love working on ships, but technically you’re not often unliable in the water (so I unquestionably spend increasingly time in the gym in those weeks!) so the self-rule I find there is not seeing land for a few weeks, it might moreover sound a bit mad but not stuff unfluctuating to land and for the most part your normal day to day (and often the internet!) is a wonderful way to touch wiring with your smart-ass and not get distracted. I find I’m either focused on the work I’m doing or in my lanugo time my smart-ass is flooding with ideas for when I come home. I came up with the concept for the blog while I at sea and moreover the idea for an heady venture next year this summer while in the Atlantic this summer.
